Viral Hit just revealed that a popular My Hero Academia voice actor (VA) has joined its cast. This isn’t the only reveal regarding this upcoming anime as the show also announced the rest of its main cast.
Many are already excited about this show given that it’s based on a popular webtoon. Now, more anime fans have a reason to watch it as it is filled with a lot of notable voice actors.
My Hero Academia’s Bakugo Joins the Viral Hit Anime Cast
Perhaps one of the most popular cast members of this upcoming name is Nobuhiko Okamoto. In Viral Hit, Okamoto will play the role of Kanegon, one of the series’ main supporting characters.
Okamoto is best known for being the voice actor of Katsuki Bakugo in My Hero Academia. After all, Bakugo is easily the most popular character in the series, as proven by the manga’s popularity polls.
Along with Bakugo, Okamoto is also known as the VA of Rin Okumura in Blue Exorcist, Yuu Nishinoya in Haikyuu, and Eiji Niizuma in Bakuman.
Viral Hit Anime Reveals Main Voice Cast
Joining Okamoto is a star-studded cast of voice actors. Interestingly, the protagonist Kota Shimura is voiced by Satoshi Niwa, a rookie VA.
Meanwhile, the rest of the cast is composed of popular VAs, which include:
- Nobuhiko Okamoto (Katsuki Bakugo in My Hero Academia) as Kanegon
- Fairouz Ai (Power in Chainsaw Man) as Aki Yashio

- Kaito Ishikawa (Tobio Kageyama in Haikyuu) as Reo Shinjo
- Yoshino Aoyama (Hitori Gotoh in Bocchi the Rock!) as Rumi Meguro
- Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen) as Tatsuya Ogi
- Tomokazu Sugita (Gintoki Sakata in Gintama) as TOU-KEI

Where to Watch the Viral Hit Anime
The Viral Hit anime is being produced by the studio Okuruto Noboru, and it is based on an ongoing webtoon of the same name. This webtoon is made by Taejun Park, the creator of the popular series Lookism.
Viral Hit will be released sometime in April 2024, and it will be broadcast on Fuji TV.
Meanwhile, fans outside of Japan will be able to watch the series on Crunchyroll.
The show will be streamed by Crunchyroll in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
