My Hero Academia Season 3 Set For Major Tie-In With The Movie


The third season of My Hero Academia is tying up with the highly anticipated feature film My Hero Academia: Two Heroes.

Fans who have been following My Hero Academia Season 3 have found that the 58th episode will be tied-in with the feature film. The episode, which is aptly-titled Special: Save the World With Love!, will air on August 25 and is set to lead directly to the events in My Hero Academia: Two Heroes.

The episode synopsis reads as follows:

"Izuku and Company Go Through Special Training! Izuku and several others join a special training course for Summer vacation when something befalls them! A special episode directly connected with the theatrical release!"

It's an interesting turn of events since Midoriya and the gang are supposed to be dealing with the Hero License Exam. Nevertheless, a tie-in with Two Heroes is definitely a welcome idea.

Here's the synopsis for My Hero Academia: Two Heroes.

"After the end of the climactic Final Exams, the U.A. Class members head off to their school field trip for Summer break. However, before they head off to the school field trip, All Might and Deku accept an invitation from someone to go abroad to a floating and mobile manmade city, called 'I Island.' All researchers in the world, from both East and West, are gathered in this place, known as the Hollywood of Science, where they research quirks as well as hero supplemental items at the special 'I Expo' convention that is currently being held on the island."

My Hero Academia Season 3 Episode 58 will air on August 25. The feature film was released in Japan on August 3. However, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes will premiere in North America on September 25.
