My Hero Academia Fan Channels His Inner Hero And Saves Woman From Stabbing

Izuku Midori might actually serve as a pretty good role model from My Hero Academia because it looks like fans of the anime series don't find it that hard to reach into the inner hero in side them. Just recently a fan from California channeled his inner All Might, saving another person's life.

According to local news outlet 23ABC News Bakersfield, Blaine Hodge, a My Hero Academia fan decided to let out his inner hero and help a woman who was being assaulted in a Star Bucks in Bakersfield California.

A domestic assault attack suddenly occurred in the establishment, however, when Starbucks patrons realized that the woman's partner had a weapon, most of them ran off. Hodge, on the other hand, decided to jump between the man and the woman instead. Delaying the attack on the woman, Hodge was hit with what witnesses described as a machete.

Hodge is now in the hospital waiting for surgery on his hand. Anime fans on Reddit who discovered that the good Samaritan was actually a fan of My Hero Academia spread the word online, so much so that one broadcast actually used an image of Hodge wearing an All Might t-shirt for their report.

All Might and Katsuki Bakugo would be pretty proud to hear about what Hodge did to protect others.
