The title of My Hero Academia Chapter 404 is We Love You, All Might!, and it starts with a brief flashback from the time Sir Nighteye foresaw All Might’s unspeakably gruesome death caused by a villain.
At present, All For One continues to mock All Might’s heroic spirit by holding his thin and frail body up in the air.
As the wind blows, the chapter shows us various reactions from the viewers who were watching the fight’s livestream from the comfort of their homes and offices.
A farmer resorts to baking a pie, a senior office worker scolds his junior to worry more about his deadlines, the US weather reporter, Meryl, has her Butterfly Effect report posted online, and a mother calls for her dog-son Martin to eat.
Back on the battlefield, Deku and Bakugo’s eyes locked onto each other. All of a sudden, Bakugo charges toward Deku to hold hands as they start spinning in the air.
The second OFA user warns Deku about using Gear Shift again because the kickback will be even stronger, which would mean giving up on victory.
Even so, Deku uses Gear Shift on Bakugo, sending him toward All Might and All For One’s direction.
Shigaraki confidently assumes that Bakugo will not make it in time, as All Might’s vestige inside Deku has started looking like his real self, contrary to the formless silhouette he has had in the past.
Shigaraki also remarks that the death of the man who brought dreams to the world will bring reality back to everyone.
As Bakugo blasts himself closer to All Might and All For One, a narration about everyone’s prayers and hopes for All Might is shown.
Within everyone’s thoughts, there is sort of an energy from striving for a certain future—an energy from wishing.
We also saw another brief flashback from the time Bakugo questioned Deku for getting All Might’s power and from the time when he realized that he had put an end to All Might’s hero career.
The last page shows Bakugo exploding All For One’s arms as he snatches All Might.
The vestige inside Deku returns to normal, while All Might can’t believe Bakugo’s clutch appearance.
Before the chapter ends, Bakugo, who can be seen bleeding from his nose and mouth, shouts with determination that they will win.

The timing of Bakugo’s comeback is spot on, as he was the only hero to emerge from the rubble of injured heroes who can support Deku and All Might.
In the next chapter, we are also speculating that All For One will use the rewind quirk once again to treat his wounds.
