My Daughter Left the Nest is a fantasy anime unlike any other. Instead of following the hero’s journey to defeating a powerful enemy, the premise simply revolves around a father and daughter who want to be reunited. It’s already becoming popular among international fans, but will My Daughter Left the Nest be dubbed in English?

My Daughter Left the Nest: A Comfy and Wholesome Fantasy Anime

The anime is officially titled My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer, and it is already receiving a lot of love from fans for its wholesome vibes and relatable characters.

Fans are especially loving the relationship between the father-daughter duo of Belgrieve and Angeline.

In the story, Belgrieve is a retired adventurer who had to give up on his dreams because of an unfortunate injury. Then comes Angeline, an abandoned child whom Belgrieve chanced upon on the mountain one day.

Belgrieve adopts Angeline as his own and teaches her how to wield a sword for self-defense. It turns out that she is exceptionally skilled in sword-fighting, so her father sends her to the Capital to further hone her talent.

As years go by, Angeline becomes a well-accomplished adventurer, so much so that she becomes an S-Rank adventurer.

But despite attaining the fame and fortune her father once dreamed for himself, Angeline’s deepest wish is simply to see him again.

As promising as My Daughter Left the Nest is, unfortunately, it has not been confirmed to receive an English dub.

Crunchyroll began streaming the anime on September 28 for audiences in the US and other English-speaking regions but with English subtitles.

The streaming platform has not included the series in its Fall 2023 English dub anime lineup. There is also no indication on the anime’s listing that an English dub is in production.

This means we might have to wait a while for the anime to get an English version, if at all.

It seems that the biggest shows of the season, such as Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End and The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3, are being prioritized for the English dub treatment.

This makes sense given how challenging it can be to produce English dubs.

However, there is always hope that My Daughter Left the Nest continues to become more popular and eventually receive an English dub soon.
