While it has been known for some time now that the second season will air in Summer 23, Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 finally revealed its official premiere date with the release of the latest trailer.
This new trailer was shared on the Toho animation official YouTube channel, and it’s a proper preview of what to expect in Season 2, as it features interesting new scenes from the show. It also previews the season’s new theme songs.
With Mushoku Tensei making a return, the Summer 2023 season is shaping up to be another big one.
Mushoku Tensei and the Big Hitters of Summer 23
While the year started relatively quietly given that Winter 23 anime suffered many delays, things picked up in spring as the ongoing season has lots of big hits, including titles like Demon Slayer and Oshi no Ko.
Summer 23 is also going to be a big one as it features the return of Mushoku Tensei, the hit isekai anime that became popular in 2021 with the release of its first season.
It may have taken over a year, but finally, Season 2 is coming soon, and it will follow Rudeus in his teenage years.
Along with Mushoku Tensei, anime fans are also excited to see the long-awaited Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.
Aside from being released over two years after Season 1, it will also adapt what fans consider to be the series’ best arcs.
Other big shows that fans can expect in the summer are Bleach: TYBW Part 2, Masamune Kun’s Revenge R, and Horimiya -Piece-, among others.

Mushoku Tensei Season 2 Gets Official Release Date
With the show’s premiere just a bit over a month away, Mushoku Tensei Season 2 finally got another trailer that not only showed off new footage but also revealed the new opening and ending themes.
The upcoming season’s opening theme is titled spiral by LONGMAN. Meanwhile, the ending song is Musubime by Yuiko Ohara, who returns from the first season.

Along with the new trailer, another key visual for the season has been released, featuring Rudeus Greyrat and Sara, a new character in the anime.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 will premiere in Japan on July 2, 2023.
The season will also be streamed on Crunchyroll shortly after each episode’s Japanese release.
