Mortal Kombat had just had a big reveal for their upcoming character, the T-800 Terminator, but if you stick to the end, you'll see a teaser for Cassie Quinn.

As it turns out, this is an alternate skin for Cassie Cage and based on franchise history, it's likely this will come with some new voice lines as well to fit the Harley Quinn character. They did the same thing with Injustice where they gave characters special skins which turned them into completely different characters; same playstyle, but different voice and cosmetics.
It's only fitting that they should add a version of Harley to the game, seeing as one of the upcoming DLC characters is Joker. We don't know how many more DC heroes NetherRealm plans to bring in, but seeing as Injustice is one of their bigger franchises, it's possible for more heroes to crossover.
It's also worth noting that this Cassie Quinn reveal is timed well as WB has released its first trailer for the Harley Quinn-centric Birds of Prey. Now I'm curious if the DLC version of Joker could come with an alternate skin based on Joaquin Phoenix's version of the character.
Cassie Quinn (along with the T-800) is available for early access this coming Oct. 8. Mortal Kombat 11 is now playable for Xbox One, PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
