Moon Knight Episode 4: Another Clue Hints A Third Persona of Marc and Steven

Moon Knight Episode 4 is a confusing run but looking at it on a deeper perspective, there are hints that show that the mental institution isn’t real. To start, Taweret is there and gods don’t show themselves to others who are not their avatars so it is possibly somewhere safe where a goddess like her can manifest herself. Also, Steven and Marc meet each other in the flesh is totally not possible in real life, they share the same body.

With Steven coming out of a sarcophagus, it only confirms that Marc is the main person and Steven is the other personality crafted by Marc, possibly based on the movie Tomb Buster that they are watching in the facility, and due to the dissociative identity disorder that the titular character has. However, there is another sarcophagus, someone inside of it is violent and it just strengthens the hint that there is another persona.

It is possible that the one in that sarcophagus, as the fans are rooting it to be, is Jake Lockley, one of the identities that Marc Spector and Steven Grant share a body with. Lockley is the exact opposite of Steven, a cool guy, street smart, nothing like Steven’s awkwardness which could suggest that maybe, his personalities are not borne out of a dissociative identity disorder but something else.

Other than the hints in the episodes, the credits scene also points to another persona. What makes this persona special, though, is that he need not ask permission from Marc or Steven to take over. Marc may have known him from before but given the violent nature of the persona, he might have suppressed Jake deep in his mind.

There are a lot of hints already, whether it would be Jake Lockley or another different personality, he is yet to make an appearance in the MCU. Who do you think it would be?

Moon Knight Episode 4 is now streaming on Disney Plus where it would be available on the service in the highest streaming quality, 4K. Episode 5 arrives at 3 AM EST on April 27, 2022.
