Moon in the Day is a live-action adaptation of a webtoon called Moonrise During the Day. The webtoon was written by Heyum and follows a tragic love story that transcends time and space.

The time-slip K-Drama moves between the past and present, spanning over 1,500 years.

The show follows Do-ha (played by Kim Young-dae), a nobleman from the Silla dynasty who met an untimely death at the hands of his wife, Han Ri-ta (played by Pyo Ye-jin). In his death, Do-ha's spirit awaits Ri-ta to be reincarnated so he can get his revenge on her.

In the present time, Do-ha possesses a popular actor with an inferiority complex, Han Jun-oh (also played by Young-dae). Jun-oh gets into a car accident but is saved by firefighter Kang Young-hwa (also played by Ye-jin). This prompts him to ask her to be his bodyguard.

As Do-ha possesses Jun-oh's body, he is conflicted about taking his revenge on his ex-wife since Young-hwa does not have any memory of the past. And since she has become his bodyguard, this confuses Do-ha even more as she protects him at all times.

We're confident that there will be romance in the present-day characters of the show. But considering the past, we can definitely say that Moon in the Day has romance in it.

The only question we have left is whether Do-ha will fall in love with Young-hwa in the present time or will he continue to seek revenge for his wife's actions from over 1,500 years ago.

We're looking forward to what Moon in the Day has in store for its viewers. It will definitely be a roller coaster ride for Do-ha as he tries to convince himself that Young-hwa is different from Ri-ta. Hopefully, the present-day characters will not meet the same fate as their past lives.
