Here's What Happened Before Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Episode 7
The episode opened with Prospera meeting with a scientist from Peil Technologies named Belmoria Winston.
Elsewhere, Miorine was upset with Suletta because the latter agreed to participate in a duel with Elan without consulting her first.
Suletta apologized but Miorine was not in the mood to accept her apology.
In the meantime, the Jeturk Company cut off all support to Guel Jeturk.
Moreover, he was thrown out of the Jeturk House. Guel was shocked and wondered where was he supposed to live now.
He got a message from his father saying that, as an act of mercy, he was ready to pay the rest of his tuition.
Meanwhile, the two duelists, Elan and Suletta, were called in before their duel and were told that the location of the battle will be the airspace outside the front of the school.
Elan declared that if he wins the duel, he wants to take Aerial from Suletta.
Suletta was taken aback, but she was given time until the day of the duel to declare her stake.
Back at the Earth House, the residents were freaking out because the Peil House’s machines are known for their mobility.
Moreover, they were tensed because Suletta’s Aerial would be facing a new model of the opponent’s mobile suit.
The Earth House had no money to buy a new thruster unit, so they decided to improvise. They set out to make an in-house unit for Suletta’s Aerial.
In the meantime, during a routine check-up, it was revealed that the Elan shown thus far is actually the body double of the real Elan Ceres.
The current Elan was surgically modified to look like him.
Suletta tested the new unit attached to Aerial, and it was good to go for the duel.
Later, Suletta used the PA system to reach out to Elan. Over the PA, she asked Elan why he wanted to duel against her. She wanted to know why he was after Aerial.
Suddenly, Suletta started singing the Happy Birthday song, but soon after, she received a call from Elan who told her to head back home.
On the day of their duel, Suletta revealed that if she wins the duel, she wants to know more about Elan.
The duel began and both Suletta and Elan fought hard and were compelled to push their individual limits.
Eventually, the duel ended with Suletta winning and Elan revealing that he knew someone who celebrated his birthday before.
Suletta assured him that she and her friends will celebrate it too.
The next day, Suletta was eager to meet Elan, but Peil Technologies was already preparing to eliminate him because he lost the duel against Suletta.
Belmoria was seen pleading with the other members of Peil Technologies to spare Elan.
However, the episode ends on a cliffhanger with both Suletta and Elan singing the Happy Birthday song to hauntingly contrasting tunes.
