The Zeonic War for Independence, commonly referred to as the One Year War, marked the inaugural significant conflict within the Universal Century timeline.

Spanning from January 3, U.C. 0079, to January 1, U.C. 0080, this war unfolded between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon.

Zeon employed various weapons of mass destruction, including G3 Gas in colonies, a colony drop on Jaburo, and nuclear weapons at the Battle of Loum.

It will be interesting to see what Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance shows in terms of the iconic One Year War.

The teaser of the series showcased the protagonist, Iria Sorari, alongside the Gundam with visuals from the battle scene.

Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance is crafted using Unreal Engine 5 and will stream worldwide on Netflix.
