Mob Psycho 100 ended just a few weeks ago in a satisfying way as it neatly wrapped up Mob’s story. Aside from getting fans emotional, even Shigeo VA Setsuo Ito was moved by the Mob Psycho 100 ending as he shared a tearful farewell message at a finale event.

The day before the ending’s release, a special cinema screening was held in Ikebukuro, Tokyo for Episodes 10 to 12.

Fans in attendance there were also treated to a special stage event featuring Ito and Season 3 director Takahiro Hasui.

There, Ito and Hasui shared their thoughts and feelings on the show’s emotional finale.

The series’ last episode was truly a perfect one in the eyes of many fans as it finally saw Reigen admitting to Mob that he has no powers. This moment proved to be a memorable one for Ito.

Aside from Reigen, Dimple also played a major role in the finale as he was able to reach out to Mob during his ???% state.

Ito remarked that this is another moment that will stick with him from the finale.

Reigen and Dimple weren’t the only ones in the final arc though as various characters from the previous season also made an appearance. This was another element of the finale episode that made a mark on Ito and Hasui.

Ito also mentioned Miyu Irino, the voice of Ritsu Kageyama. He said that Irino is someone he looks up to and learned a lot from during the Mob Psycho 100 recording sessions.

Ito further explains that the last scene with Mob and Ritsu was the hardest for him to record not only because it was a scene with Irino, but also because Ito says that he is not good at recording laughs.

While many manga titles get adapted into anime, it’s quite rare for an anime to completely adapt its source material.

Mob Psycho 100 is one of the few exceptions though, and Ito is thankful for this.

Given that Ito has played Mob for six years, it’s no surprise that he was moved nearly to tears while sharing his final thoughts about the anime with fans in attendance.

There, Ito said that he is glad to have been able to voice Mob until the end and that he is thankful to everyone who helped make the anime.

Ito also followed that while he wishes that the journey will continue in the future, he is still happy to have seen it through to its end.

Right now, there’s no word yet on whether a new Mob Psycho 100 project will be made in the future.
