Millie Bobby Brown and Henry Cavill are Quick-Witted Detectives in Enola Holmes Trailer

For the past few days, Netflix has been releasing brief teasers for Enola Holmes, a brand new mystery movie based on a book series by Nancy Springer featuring the adventures of Sherlock Holmes' younger sister, Enola.

Today, we finally get the full trailer for Enola Holmes, taking viewers to a story by Killing Eve director Harry Bradbeer and His Dark Materials writer Jack Thorne. The video gives fans a general idea of what to expect from Enola Holmes. Starring Stranger Things alum Millie Bobby Brown as titular character Enola Holmes and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star Henry Cavill as her brother Sherlock, Enola Holmes gives us an adventure that the whole family can enjoy.

The film begins with Enola "waking on her 16th birthday to find her mother (Helena Bonham Carter) has vanished. An assortment of gifts have been left behind, but there are no apparent clues to her whereabouts. Now in the care of her two older brothers, who want to ship her off to a finishing school, Enola escapes through London to find her mom."

It seems like a wild ride, and Millie Bobby Brown seems pretty delightful as Enola Holmes. The actress suits the role with her wit and her charm. It's also fun seeing Cavill as young Sherlock Holmes – who knew that the world's greatest detective could be such eye candy.

We're excited to see more of Brown and Cavill in Netflix's adaptation of Springer's popular YA novel series.

Enola Holmes makes its way to Netflix on September 23, 2020.
