Miles Takes on Green Goblin in Latest Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Image

There are still quite a few months before Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse hits theaters but it is shaping up to be a promising animated film. We've all seen how gorgeous the animation is and having an older Peter Parker act as a teacher to Miles Morales should be a fun romp. Add the other Spider-Men that will be added and we have one heck of a superhero movie to look forward to.

A new image from the movie was recently revealed by Entertainment Weekly and it has Miles in his full Spider-Man garb punching the giant dragon-like Green Goblin. It's a beautiful shot from the movie and looks like it's straight from a comic book, which isn't always the case with these kinds of films.

We've seen similar imagery from the movie's trailers, which adds to the hyper-kinetic style that the film is clearly going for. From what we've seen, these comic book-like shots add to the tension and look really good, which can't be emphasized enough.

Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman from a script written by Phil Lord, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is scheduled to be released on December 14. The animated film stars Shameik Moore, Brian Tyree Henry, Jake Johnson, Mahershala Ali, Hailee Steinfeld, and Liev Schreiber.
