Mewtwo, Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno Return to Pokemon GO in Ultra Bonus Event

Fans who have been completing Professor Willow's Pokemon GO research tasks have been through the ringer, whether it be catching a random Pokemon or some other menial goal that was required as part of the game's Global Research. Well, all that hard work is going to pay off as Niantic has announced a huge Ultra Bonus event that brings back the Kanto legendaries and makes regional Pokemon temporarily available to everyone.

Starting on September 13, Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos will be available in Raid Battles until September 20. As if that wasn't enough to get your interest, there's a good chance that shiny versions of these Pokemon will be available in the Raid Battles, which should get the attention of any hardcore trainers out there.

Then, Mewtwo will be a part of regular Raid Battles for the first time ever, starting on September 20 and ending on October 23, so fans have plenty of time to catch Mew's clone. Prior to this, the 150th Pokemon had only been available in EX Raids, making the Psychic-type one of the most difficult to come across in the game.

As mentioned in the first paragraph, regional Pokemon will be available to the rest of the world for the first time. Farfetch'd, Mr. Mime, Kangaskhan, and Tauros will be coming to the game as 7km eggs. Players will be able to get these Pokemon as 7km eggs until the end of September so start catching!

Pokemon GO is available now on iOS and Android.
