Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a glimpse of their relationship with the royal family in their Netflix docuseries. One body language expert examined their friendship with his royal cousin, Princess Eugenie.
Meghan Markle Has High Level Of Trust In Princess Eugenie, Expert Claims
Body language Jud James noticed the scene when all four — Prince Harry, Markle, Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank — partied together during a Halloween party before the Sussex romance became public.
"Another revelation that came from Harry and Meghan's documentary was the friendship between Eugenie and Jack and Harry and Meghan and, significantly, the relationship between Meghan and Eugenie," James told Express.
"We knew the four were still close after Harry and Meghan's exit to the US, but the photos here define a very striking and specific closeness. Their head closeness should define high levels of trust, although with selfies that analysis is not quite so accurate as you do have to push your heads together to get into frame."
The expert noted that Prince Harry's wife and cousin's facial expressions revealed their tight bond. Their "open-mouthed facial expression" reportedly signifies freedom.
"They illustrate this 'freedom' with a series of photos of themselves leaping about with their mouths open like small children," James explained.
"To use this theme with Eugenie suggests she also shares an ability to have freedom and fun when she is with Harry and Meghan and the mirroring with Meghan makes the two women look especially close."
While James is convinced that the royal couples still share a tight bond, another expert doesn't think the same.
Meghan Markle And Prince Harry's Relationship With Princess Eugenie Has Been Strained?
Body language expert Jesús Enrique Rosas, also known as The Body Language Guy, weighed in on the Sussexes' body language at the Queen's funeral. According to him, Prince Harry and Markle's relationship with Princess Eugenie, who stood close to them during the service, seemed strained. He observed the tension between the two female royals.
"You can push your head forward when you are interested in something and you can pull it backward when you feel some resistance," Rosas said in his video while talking about Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie. "There is some resistance between them."

"This should not be it. If they are friends and they can support each other—it's precisely in this moment when friends are going to naturally gravitate toward each other, which is not happening here."
According to him, Markle gave Princess Eugenie a "cold stare" before the car left following the funeral. There was also reportedly some tension between Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie's husband, Brooksbank.
He noted that Brooksbank tightened his mouth when he looked in Prince Harry's direction, and his mouth appeared relaxed when he looked away.
"It's a very uncomfortable situation for both of them," he added.
The body language expert didn't sense a connection between the two royal couples at the Queen's funeral.
