Meghan Markle has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons throughout the past couple of weeks. After all, she is the subject of Tom Bower’s new book, Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War Between the Windsors. The royal author made some shocking allegations in his book, but just days after it was released, more and more individuals have also come to defend Prince Harry’s wife.
Tom Bower Accused Meghan Markle Of Ghosting People
During his recent TV appearance, Bower accused Meghan Markle of cutting him off. He also said that the Duchess of Sussex has a tendency of ghosting people.
“It was ridiculous how difficult it was to get to people who I genuinely wanted to hear the good side of her. She is a person who controls the narrative. She ghosts people like her father or the Royal Family when she doesn't like them. She's a very determined woman and she thought she could cut me off and she failed,” Bower said (via Express).

TV Hosts Defend Meghan Markle Against Tom Bower’s Claims
Other than his recent claims about Markle, Bower also accused Markle of not having a sense of humor when she met Prince Harry’s friends for the first time during one shooting weekend.
According to the royal author, Markle lashed out at her husband’s friends following their sexist and rude comments.
“Like other shooting weekends, Harry was looking forward to endless banter, jokes — and a lot of drinking. Without hesitation, Meghan challenged every guest whose conversation contravened her values. She lacked any sense of humor. Driving home after Sunday lunch, the texts pinged between the cars: 'OMG, what about HER?' said one. 'Harry must be [expletive] nuts,” he wrote.
However, TV host David Campbell came to Markle’s defense by questioning why Prince Harry took her to the shooting weekend on their second date. Royal correspondent Natalie Oliveri also said that she cannot blame Markle because she’s an animal lover.
Earlier this month, Campbell also responded to Bower’s claims that Markle is entitled. He said that it’s an interesting word to describe the Suits alum when she’s married into the most entitled family in the world, according to Express.
Other than the two personalities, several others have come forward to defend Markle following Bower’s claims. Royal fans questioned Bower’s claims about Markle and Serena Williams’ friendship after the royal author said that the two were not really close.
“Tom Bower is spreading lies, made-up conspiracies that he read on Twitter in his book. Serena Williams and Meghan Markle’s friendship goes way back, years before she met Prince Harry,” one royal fan tweeted (via Sportskeeda).
Piers Morgan Was First To Accuse Meghan Markle Of Ghosting Him
But when it comes to Bowers’ allegations about Markle ghosting people, it’s evident that he wasn’t the first one to make this claim. Prior to the release of his book, Good Morning Britain, host Piers Morgan also made the same allegations about Markle after the latter did not invite the TV presenter to her royal wedding.
Years ago, Morgan also appeared on RTE’s The Late Late Show, where he said that he was just with Markle hours before she went to a party and met Prince Harry for the first time.
“We spent two hours in a pub, she had a couple of dirty martinis, I had a couple of pints, and we got on brilliantly. And then I put her in a cab, and it turned out to be a cab which took her to a party where she met Prince Harry. And the next night they had a solo dinner together, and that was the last I heard from Meghan Markle. She ghosted me, Ryan. Meghan Markle ghosted me,” Morgan said (via the BBC).
