Meghan Markle Is Reportedly A Schemer And May Dump Prince Harry In The Future
British writer and investigative journalist Tom Bower dropped a new book titled Revenge about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. In one interview, he weighed in on the Duchess of Sussex's personality and the future of her marriage to the Duke of Sussex.
Bower, who worked on a new unauthorized biography about Markle, spoke with several individuals who knew the duchess, including her ex-friends and colleagues. He learned about her complex family life and said that the picture of Markle that emerged was one of a "schemer."
"Meghan is a schemer, you never know – really – looking at Meghan unless you’re really far inside her mind, what she really thinks, what she really wants," Bower said on MailPlus royal talk show Palace Confidential.
According to Bower, Markle's drive and ambition helped her to become successful. However, her success came at the expense of several personal relationships, and it was her character that made people worry about her marriage to the royal prince. Some reportedly feared that she would dump Prince Harry one day.
"That’s the story across America and Britain, people perplexed about a woman who really has betrayed them, dumped them and that’s what many of them obviously think she’ll do to Harry," Bower added.
Meghan Markle Lost Several People Dear To Her In The Past
Years before Meghan Markle met Prince Harry, she was previously married to producer Trevor Engelson. Her childhood ex-BFF Ninaki Priddy served as her maid of honor at her first wedding.
In Priddy's previous interview, Markle married Engelson before she catapulted to fame. However, Markle reportedly changed when Suits became a hit, and she suddenly divorced her first husband.
"The way she handled it, Trevor definitely had the rug pulled out from under him. He was hurt," Priddy told Daily Mail.
Priddy had known Markle almost all their lives because they were BFFs and were like sisters since they were 2 years old. She even admitted that when she first met Engelson, she didn't like the producer because "he's stealing my best friend." However, when Markle and Engelson divorced, Priddy remained friends with Engelson and her friendship with Markle ended.
"I tried to get details from her, but she wouldn’t tell me. What came to light after Trevor and I spoke ended my friendship with Meghan. I think everybody who knew them both was in shock," she added.

Markle also reportedly cut ties with her pals after her engagement with Prince Harry. When her relationship with the royal prince became serious, her life changed, and a source said, "certain friendships can't go on."
"A lot of Meghan’s friends haven’t heard from her," the source told Grazia magazine. "In some cases, she sent a mutual friend to explain she would no longer be in touch."
British journalist and TV presenter Piers Morgan also claimed that Markle cut him off when her relationship with Prince Harry became serious. In an interview with U.K.'s The Times, the Good Morning Britain host recounted how his friendship with Markle started.
He followed Markle and three other male casts of Suits, and she direct-messaged him shortly after to thank Morgan for following her because she was reportedly "a big fan." They even met in 2016 when Markle was in the United Kingdom, and they chatted and had great fun.

However, he never heard from Markle again after that night, and he later learned that she had met Prince Harry on the same evening. Since then, Morgan has continuously berated Markle in public and in one episode of GMB, Alex Beresford called him out for his tirades against Markle.
"I understand that you've got a personal relationship with Meghan Markle or had one and she cut you off," Beresford said. "She's entitled to cut you off if she wants to. Has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don't think she has, but yet you continue to trash her."
