Meghan Markle changed when she became popular, according to people close to her. Also, the Duchess of Sussex allegedly changed the way she treated the people around her when she started earning well.
Meghan Markle Allegedly Changed By Money And Fame
Meghan Markle's half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. talked about her on Australia's Celebrity Big Brother. He told his housemates that he and Markle were once closed. However, when she moved to Canada to film Suits, which became a hit, he claimed that she changed.
"That's the big thing now, what happened to her?" he was quoted by Mirror as saying. "No one can figure it out. Money changed her I guess and fame went to her head really bad."

Markle's childhood BFF for over three decades also said she changed. Markle and Ninaki Priddy were like sisters since they were 2 years old. However, their friendship ended when Markle broke up with her first husband, Trevor Engelson. She disapproved of the way the former actress ended their marriage, she also claimed that Markle developed a sense of "entitlement" after she married the producer.
"After the wedding, it was like a light switched off. There’s Meghan Before Fame and Meghan After Fame," Priddy told The Sun.
Priddy was Markle's maid of honor when she married Engelson in Jamaica.
"What came to light after Trevor and I spoke ended my friendship with Meghan. I think everybody who knew them both was in shock."

Meghan Markle's Brother Warned Prince Harry Not To Marry Her
The Duchess of Sussex's estranged brother penned a letter addressed to Prince Harry before their royal wedding. Thomas Markle Jr. discouraged Prince Harry from marrying Markle, writing that it would be the "biggest mistake" in the royal family's history.
"It's not too late, Meghan Markle is obviously not the right woman for you," he wrote in an open letter obtained by InTouch Weekly.
"It's very apparent that her tiny bit of Hollywood fame has gone to her head changing her into a jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage," he added.

He also reminded Prince William's brother how Markle invited thousands of strangers but not her own family. In a previous interview, he also commented on Markle allegedly wanting to be like Prince Harry's mom, Princess Diana.
Thomas Jr. said he didn't think it would be possible for Markle to be like the late Princess of Wales because she was not genuine. He added that there was a "whole different side of her [Markle] that has started to surface and it's ugly to see."
