Meghan Markle Shock: Military Escort Allegedly Left Prince Harry's Bride Struggling With Wedding Dress After Being Rude During Rehearsal, Royal Biographer Tom Bower Claims

Meghan Markle did not receive any help from a military escort on her big day despite her struggles with her wedding gown. According to Tom Bower, it was because of the way the bride reportedly treated the personnel during a wedding rehearsal.

Meghan Markle Was Reportedly Left Struggling With Wedding Gown For Being Rude

British reporter and investigative journalist Tom Bower made several explosive claims about Meghan Markle in his new book Revenge. He has been speaking about the duchess in several interviews too.

According to him, on her big day, the Duchess of Sussex's veil became twisted in the vehicle when she exited the bridal car. It was shown in the footage, and another aide, along with Givenchy dress designer Clare Waight Keller rushed to help her.

The military escort tasked to open her door didn't move to help the bride. He reportedly refused to help due to an incident the previous day.

"A military man told me an extraordinary story about Meghan when she arrived at the wedding at Windsor Castle on that glorious day in 2018," Bower said on Mirror's Pod Save the Queen podcast. "You see her get out of the car unaccompanied and she has problems with the train of her dress and the army officer doesn't step forward to help her."

Bower added, "And the reason is, is the day before in the rehearsal, she had been very rude to him so he thought 'well I'm not going to help you today'. I didn't get the story from him but a fellow officer of his, who explained what had happened."

Aside from Meghan Markle allegedly treating a military escort, there was a drama between her and Kate Middleton. Months after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex tied the knot, there were reports that she made the Duchess of Cambridge cry over bridesmaids' dresses.

Middleton denied the allegations in her interview with Oprah Winfrey. According to her, "the reverse happened." It was reportedly Middleton who made her cry.

Prince William's wife was reportedly mortified when Prince Harry's better half talked about the issue because she didn't want any suggestions of a rift between them.

"From what I hear, there are different versions of the bridesmaid story, not just the one Meghan discussed. Kate felt it was all sorted, so to have it brought up again was mortifying. Kate is not in a position to respond and Meghan and Harry know that," royal biographer Katie Nicholl said.

Tom Bower's book redeemed the future queen consort despite her silence. According to the royal biographer, Markle indeed made Middleton cry when she compared her daughter Princess Charlotte to her best friend Jessica Mulroney's child "unfavorably."
