How Did The Racism Scandal Affect The Royal Family?

King Charles and his staff were reportedly scrambling to manage the crisis. They were allegedly desperate to prove that the monarchy is not racist following the allegations from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

During the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's interview with Oprah Winfrey last year, they claimed that a member of the royal family raised concern over their unborn child's skin color. The revelation prompted many netizens to call out the palace for being racist.

Prince Harry and Markle refused to name the alleged racist royal because it could damage them, according to the royal couple. However, Prince Harry clarified that the royal in question is neither his grandmother Queen Elizabeth nor his grandfather, Prince Philip.
