Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Expected At The 2023 Oscars?

Celebrity PR expert Carla Speight weighed in on Prince Harry and Markle skipping the Oscars. For her, it was the best because their attendance at the ceremony would raise more questions than answers.

The expert told Express:

"It makes little sense for Harry and Meghan to be at the Oscars. Their documentary wasn’t nominated. Meghan’s not currently acting and I don’t think Harry has any plans to either, though stranger things have happened with them recently."

She added:

"If they showed up to the Oscars, it would raise many questions as to why and ultimately it wouldn’t be a good look for them as it makes no sense."

She explained that celebrities attend the event for three reasons, and nothing would apply to the Sussexes:

The expert explained:

"Either they’ve been nominated, are networking or have a project they want to plug. Harry and Meghan don’t have any of those reasons to be there, so it’s no surprise they weren’t there."

The Wanton Wench took to Twitter and asked the other users on the microblogging site to share their thoughts about the Sussexes' absence at the star-studded event. They had different opinions about why Prince Harry and Markle were not at the ceremony.

"Were they invited?" one asked. The Wanton Wench replied, "Apparently not."

A third user suggested:

"If they were invited they'd be there with bells on."

Another critic added:

"Why on earth would they be invited. Ones a drug addict the other a narcissist. They’d have no pull in Hollywood as much as they think they have. Fraudsters. Liars and bullies."
