Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are reportedly at odds with his family. A journalist and broadcaster slammed Markle and accused her of trying to take down the royal family.

Meghan Markle On A Mission To Destroy Prince Harry's Family?

In August, the Duchess of Sussex graced the cover of The Cut. In the interview, she spoke about various things, including Prince Harry's relationship with his father, King Charles, which raised eyebrows.

Journalist Dan Wootton, a TV presenter at GB News, claimed that an intervention is needed to save Prince Harry from his wife, who was allegedly "on a mission" to take down the members of the firm.

"An intervention should be staged, no matter the limited likelihood of success, to try and protect the troubled Duke and talk to the couple to sort out fact from fiction," Wootton wrote. "Because it's now abundantly clear to anyone that Meghan Markle appears to have no grip on reality and is on a mission to take down the Royal Family, no matter the cost."

According to him, Prince Harry, who is emotionally vulnerable, seemed "transported into an alternate universe that is embarrassing and damaging to all parties, especially the monarchy."

Monarchy Is Not In Meghan Markle's Blood, Unlike Prince Philip?

Just recently, historian Dr. Tess Dunlop the author of the newly released book Elizabeth and Philip: A Story of Young Love, Marriage and Monarchy, weighed in on Markle's possible take about the monarchy. According to the expert, she has some similarities with Prince Philip because they were both born overseas and were outsiders.

However, Dunlop said they joined the institution with different mindsets. Prince Philip supported his wife, the late Queen Elizabeth. On the other hand, monarchy is not in Markle's blood, so she didn't get their system.

"The difference is Philip understood and believed in monarchy because he was born royal. He, therefore, bought into and understood the institution he was entering [by marriage]," Dunlop told Express.

According to her, Prince Philip was a product of the 20th century when the people still believed in monarchy as an institution. Many treated it as superior in many ways and had magic to it.

However, the former Suits star came from the New World, America, where they got rid of monarchy three centuries ago.

"Now, America has its selected kingship to this day, the president, and they have always admired the tinsel and trappings and pomp and ceremony and so of course Meghan was going to be impressed by that, but she doesn't believe in the institution because she is American," Dunlop added.
