Kim Kardashian's podcast is reportedly getting a higher rating than Meghan Markle, according to an expert.

Meghan Markle Is Losing Popularity?

The Duchess of Sussex has been making headlines due to her remarks in her Spotify podcast, Archetypes. However, the ratings of her podcast have reportedly declined.

"If you look at the numbers [of] her podcast, that very first episode, it blew up," royal expert Kinsey Schofield said on GB News. "I think people were very curious. But lately Kim Kardashian's beating her on the Spotify charts. There is less and less interest in her."

Kardashian released the first episode of her podcast Kim Kardashian's The System: The Case of Kevin Keith earlier this month, two years after she inked an exclusive deal with Spotify. The reality star and future lawyer's podcast focused on criminal-justice reform.

Schofield also added that the American media "noticed this redirection in the narrative" of Markle's podcast episodes. They are reportedly "very surprised" because Prince Harry's wife is "complaining less."

How Did Meghan Markle's Spotify Podcast Perform?

Markle's podcast on Spotify premiered on Aug. 23. It dominated the charts worldwide for two weeks in a row.

In its second week, it ranked as the No. 1 podcast on Spotify in seven countries — the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, India, Australia, and New Zealand, Variety reported.

However, she received intense backlash in the recent two episodes of her podcast.

Last week, she made headlines for her remarks during her stint on Deal or No Deal. Markle claimed that she felt "objectified" and was "reduced to a bimbo" while on the NBC game show. However, several former colleagues and even their stylist disputed her claims.

On Tuesday's episode, she talked about being stereotyped as an "angry Black woman." She also shared that she is 43% Nigerian.

However, she received another round of backlash from netizens slamming her for identifying herself as Black. Others alleged that she was only using it as a victim card.

"The only thing Black about Meghan Markle is her mother and her soul. Everything else is just lies, race-baiting, more lies and manipulation. She will never represent Black women. She doesn't have what it takes. She is a role model for self-serving golddiggers," a critic tweeted.

A second Twitter user agreed, writing, "As a proud Black woman, I support this tweet. She never cared about her 'Blackness' until she realized she could use it as a weapon. She is despicable."
