Netflix just dropped two back-to-back trailers for Harry & Meghan. The docuseries will be available on the streaming platform on two separate dates: Dec. 8 and 15. The project will shed light on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's struggles while working for the royal family, as well as the aftermath of their decision to quit their duties.

Meghan Markle And Kate Middleton To Be Pitted Against Each Other In Harry & Meghan?

In the first trailer released by Netflix this week, a photo of Kate Middleton staring sternly into the camera was shown. A snap of Meghan Markle looking emotional was also featured in the clip.

Now, New Idea is claiming that there are fears that Markle and Middleton will be pitted against each other in Harry & Meghan.

"Following the trailer's release, a source close to the Royal family fears Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton will be 'pitted against each other,'" the publication claimed.

Even before the trailer was released, royal fans already have an idea regarding some of the issues that plagued Prince William and Prince Harry's respective wives. There were previous allegations that Middleton made Markle cry and vice versa.

During her interview with Oprah Winfrey last year, Markle revealed that the reports about her making Middleton cry were not true. In fact, it was the other way around, but the Princess of Wales already apologized for what happened.

"The reverse happened. And I don't say that to be disparaging to anyone, because it was a really hard week of the wedding, and she was upset about something. But she owned it, and she apologized and she brought me flowers and a note apologizing. I actually think it's — I don't think it's fair to her to get into the details of that because she apologized. And I've forgiven her. I would have never wanted that to come out about her ever, even though it happened," Markle said (via People).

Royal Courtiers Having Crisis Talks Ahead Of Harry & Meghan Release?

Meanwhile, New Idea added that the trailer for Harry & Meghan also implied that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were left with no other option but to leave the royal family.

According to Vanity Fair, palace courtiers are currently holding crisis talks ahead of Prince Harry and Markle's docuseries. And their strategy is to ride out the storm without doing too much attention to the TV show.

"It's likely going to be tricky but the intention is to keep heads down and keep going. It's a tried and tested strategy and has served them well in the past. William is letting his work speak for itself as we saw in Boston and the King has a busy program of events. The message from the palace will be duty," a source said.
