Mayim Bialik revealed what could have happened in Call Me Kat if Fox didn’t cancel the show after three seasons in an emotional post on Instagram Tuesday, May 9.

Bialik bid goodbye to her character and Call Me Kat in general and revealed what could have been the end for the series’ main stars. Despite its cancellation, The Big Bang Theory star still saw a happy ending for everyone.

Mayim Bialik Says Goodbye to Call Me Kat

The actress looked back at the past two years and thanked fans for their support.

“It’s so hard to say goodbye to yesterday…. We made a lot of people laugh during COVID in ways that at first seemed impossible,” she captioned the photo featuring the show’s main cast on Instagram.

“But with this incredible cast - Cheyenne, Swoosie, Julian and Kyla - and, of course, with the late Leslie Jordan, all things that seemed impossible became possible,” she continued.

Based on the British series Miranda, Call Me Kat, which debuted in 2021, followed Kate’s life as she ran a cat café in Louisville.

The show featured talented comedic artists like Cheyenne Jackson, Kyla Pratt, Julian Gant, Swoosie Kurt, and the late Leslie Jordan.

Sadly, Fox canceled the series on May 5.

Call Me Kat’s Ending for Mayim Bialik

Not having a chance to give Call Me Kat the proper ending it needed, Bialik said fans could decide the end they wanted for the show.

But she created a conclusion of her own.

“For me, Kat and Max live happily ever after,” her post continued to read.

“Randi and Carter get married and do the same, and Sheila is forever in everyone’s life bringing joy and wisdom,” the Jeopardy! host added. “And Phil lives on forever. Thank you for being a part of our journey.”

Fox Canceled Call Me Kat

Fox canceled Call Me Kat after its three-season run.

“We are very proud of Call Me Kat,” a rep said in a statement to TVLine.

“But, unfortunately, the audience response to it was not as strong as we had hoped,” the spokesperson continued. “We are thankful for our partnership with Warner Bros. Television, That’s Wonderful Productions, Sad Clown Productions, BBC Studios, Mayim Bialik, Jim Parsons and the entire cast and crew for their work and dedication to Call Me Kat.”
