Matthew Koma Banned from Twitter

Meanwhile, Koma confirmed that he had been banned from Twitter after trolling Gwyneth Paltrow and her ski crash trial.

“Goodbye Twitter: The troll was worth it,” he wrote on his Instagram Story with a screenshot of the platform’s message about his account being “permanently suspended.”

This prohibited him from tweeting, retweeting, and liking content. He, too, is also not allowed to create a new account.

The musician’s band came after he changed his profile photo to the actress’ snap when she appeared in court in March.

He also changed his page’s name to Gwyneth Paltrow, though his handle was the same, @MatthewKoma.

“Thank you for all the kind messages today. Closure’s hard,” he teased. “But it’s a community like you guys that keeps me positive and looking forward to the next time I find the opportunity to impersonate a celebrity on a social media platform. Big thanks @gwenythpaltrow [sic] for the inspiration.”

The New York native added a snowflake and ice backdrop over his selfie and wrote, “Gwyneth Fourever [sic] Sweet.”

He continued to mock the Iron Man star and shared a series of edited Barbie posters on Instagram.

“This Barbie is not Gwenyth Paltrow but is Gwenyth Paltrow,” he captioned his photo using a Barbie template from the upcoming Greta Gerwig-directed movie and seemingly misspelled the 50-year-old star’s name intentionally.

Koma posted another poster that featured the Goop founder’s face with the caption, “This Barbie is no longer on Twitter.”
