Ever since Justice League was released in 2017, fans have clamored the version from the original director. This led to the #ReleasetheSnyderCut campaign where fans all over the world practically begged Warner Media to release it. It is an understatement to say that the fans waited for so long, which is why during the release date, many were disappointed when some HBO platforms crashed.

The infamous Snyder cut had been the stuff of legend in the movie industry. Some people believe it existed, others believe it did not exist. Others said that it exists but some of the VFX and CGI are not yet done. There were fan wars on social as people debated whether the Snyder cut was real.

In 2020, the news that HBO Max will be delivering the famed Snyder Cut into its platform made waves in the industry, the fandom, and even social media. It was a feat never done before where the studio spent millions of dollars just to fully flesh out a movie that supposedly came out years ago.

The best part was that the release date was the same worldwide. However, since HBO Max is only available in the US, the film was made available in other countries using other SVOD, PVOD, and other HBO platforms.
However, as the film went up, some users reported outages. Some HBO Max users said they experienced that the movie loaded quite slow.

The major outage was experienced on HBO Asia. The official Twitter for the platform went ahead to tell fans that they are working hard to restore the service. Some fans noted that the service outage lasted for hours. Since fans already waited for so long, waiting for HBO to fix the issue led to some fans being disappointed. A few hours later, the service was restored back to normal and fans were able to watch the film.

The film and its characters trended on Twitter for many days. Some fans said that the film is still trending in their countries even after four days have passed since it was released.

It is uncertain if it will be the last time we will see the Snyderverse or if #RestoretheSnyderverse has a chance of moving forward. Nonetheless, the massive success of the film can move in favor of a possible sequel although it is not a guarantee at the moment.
