Masks Are #SquadGoals in New Umbrella Academy Image

Gerard Way was already an acclaimed artist, thanks to his work with My Chemical Romance that helped launch the emo movement. Fans were shocked when he transitioned into comic books easily and made an impact with his works, the biggest of them being Umbrella Academy. Now, the series is coming to Netflix and stars former X-Men star Ellen Paige, with many of us hoping for the best when it comes to this new series.

Netflix has released a new image from the series and it's going to make fans of the comics very happy. As fans can see below, there are students in the academy wearing masks, with one of them unconscious and seemingly being thrown from a glass window. It's a superhero school so this was probably expected.

Based on the comic book series of the same name created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba, Netflix's Umbrella Academy revolves around the Hargreaves family—an estranged group of superheroes—being forced to reunite following the mysterious death of their father, who previously presided over the titular school in order to teach his children to master their bizarre abilities so they would be able to save the world as needed.

Coming to Netflix on Feb. 18, The Umbrella Academy stars Ellen Page, Mary J. Blige, Tom Hopper, Cameron Britton, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Adam Godley, Aidan Gallagher, David Castañeda, John Magaro, Ashley Madekwe and Colm Feore.
