There’s still some time before Mashle’s second season premieres. Ahead of its release, Mashle Season 2 got a new trailer that revealed new voice cast members, including Jujutsu Kaisen’s Sukuna and Spy x Family’s Yor VAs.

The show’s new trailer was shared on the Aniplex official YouTube channel. This trailer highlights the new characters, as well as their respective voice actors.

The trailer also gives fans a preview of the second season’s opening theme by a popular Japanese music group.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles got a second season announcement shortly after its first season’s finale. Now that it has been a few months since the reveal, a new trailer was finally released.

This teaser puts the spotlight on the show’s new VAs, all of whom voice Divine Visionaries – the most exceptional students in the series’ world.

One of these is Ryoh Grantz who is voiced by Junichi Suwabe, the popular VA who is best known for voicing Ryomen Sukuna in Jujutsu Kaisen, Archer in Fate/stay night, and Yami Sukehiro in Black Clover.

Also part of the cast is Saori Hayami who voices Sophina Biblia. Hayami is another popular VA whom fans know as Yor Forger in Spy x Family, Shinobu Kocho in Demon Slayer, and Yukino Yukinoshita in OreGairu.

The four other cast members revealed in the trailer include:

  • Yuki Ono (Taiga Kagami in Kuroko's Basketball) as Orter Mádl
  • Nobunaga Shimazaki (Yuno in Black Clover) as Kaldo Gehenna
  • Kisho Taniyama (Jean Kirstein in Attack on Titan) as Renatus Revol
  • Tomori Kusunoki (Makima in Chainsaw Man) as Tsurara Halestone

Mashle Season 2 Premieres in Winter 2024

Along with the new voice cast members, the trailer also previewed the new opening theme Bling-Bang-Bang-Born by Creepy Nuts, the popular music duo anime fans know for their songs for Call of the Night.

This new season will pick up right where the first season left off. Based on what happens in the manga, the second season will cover the Divine Visionary Selection Exam arc.

Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 will premiere in January 2024. For now, there’s no word yet on a specific release date, though it is expected to stream on Crunchyroll in the US, as with the first season.

There’s also no confirmed episode count yet. Based on the first season, chances are that this new installment will also feature 12 episodes.
