Marvel's Spider-Man Writer Had Minimal Involvement with Miles Morales PS5 Game

Marvel's Spider-Man impressed in a number of ways, from the addictive gameplay to the really cool costumes, and the fantastic graphics. One thing fans particularly loved was the writing, which managed to balance some of the comic book silliness with likable characters and an intriguing storyline. That was all thanks to writer Christos Gage, who not only writes for television but has written a number of comic books in the past. Sadly, Gage confirmed that he only had minimal involvement during the making of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

Gage addressed fans who were asking about his involvement in the not-sequelMiles Morales game, stating that he only had a tiny contribution and was too busy writing Hawaii Five-0. That doesn't mean the game will be a mess when it comes to the writing department but knowing one of your safety nets is gone could make some people a bit nervous about the spin-off game.

Still, we are plenty excited to see Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales in action, especially since it's coming to the PS5 later this year. While it won't be a full-blown sequel, the fact that we are getting more Marvel's Spider-Man is never a bad thing, especially since Miles Morales appears to have a completely different move-set to Peter's. That's good since Miles does have a couple of different powers.

Unfortunately, there is no definitive release date for Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, with Sony and Insomniac Games, only saying that it will be coming out on Holiday 2020. They didn't even reveal the price of the PlayStation 5, which has become a recurring meme in various chat rooms. Let's just hope for something that will make a lot of people happy.
