Marvel’s Mystery 2022 Movie May Very Well Be The Blade Reboot

Despite the many changes that Disney has made to its movie slate for Marvel, Star Wars, and Pixar to accommodate the delays caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic, it seems like Marvel still has a mystery movie lined up for 2022 in Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

While the studio has yet to announce the film set for the 2022 release date, Screen Rant has an interesting theory as to what the film might be – the upcoming Blade reboot.

According to the entertainment news outlet, the mystery Marvel movie slated for October 7 in 2022 can only be the Blade relaunch starring Mahershala Ali. The film seems like a pretty good fit for October 22 because it would mean that Marvel's Blade reboot would be screening in cinemas in time for Halloween.

A human-vampire hybrid with the strengths of a vampire but none of its weaknesses, Blade is a hero who's dedicated his life to putting an end to the occult world of the vampires and the creatures that associate that they associate with.

The original Blade trilogy starring Wesley Snipes was made up of horror films that showcased a darker universe than what Marvel fans are used to, and the success of the movie set the stage for comic book adaptations.

Blade's horror genre would make the reboot a great fit for the mystery movie release date. Besides, Blade is the only announced Marvel movie that has yet to receive a schedule from Marvel. It would make sense that this mystery date is allotted to the film.
