Marvel's Helstrom Series Casts Daimon and Satana Helstrom

As expected, Marvel's Helstrom series seems to be going well since we now know who will be playing Daimon and Satana Helstrom. Deadline broke the news, revealing that The Royals star Tom Austen will be Daimon while Fear the Walking Dead's Sydney Lemmon is going to be his devilish sister Satana. This means that the series is going to start filming soon or maybe they will wait for more castings but it's a step forward, that's for sure.

It was also revealed that the appropriately named Elizabeth Marvel (yes, that's her name) will be Victoria Helstrom. Also, your eyes aren't deceiving you and their last names will be Helstrom in the series and not the comic-accurate Hellstrom, which would have been confusing. Then again, the fact that the comics were called Helstrom and had their last names be Hellstrom was already confusing enough.

The first season will be 10 episodes and is scheduled to debut next year on Hulu so things are really progressing well. Obviously, they will be doing more casting to fill out the show since you can't have a two-character show so we'll see what happens. It will be interesting to see how this show does and could expand more of the mystic Marvel universe, maybe even crossing over with The Runaways.

While not the most important character in the Marvel universe, Daimon and Satana have been in a number of big storylines in the past, usually involving Doctor Strange or The Avengers. He hasn't been seen too much in recent years but that will probably change now that this series is happening.

Marvel's Helstrom will come out on Hulu in 2020.
