Marvel's Avengers Game Overview Trailer has Tons of New Footage and Information

Marvel's Avengers is one of Square Enix's biggest games coming out next year and could be one of Crystal Dynamics' most ambitious titles. Fans confused about what exactly the game's genre is will be happy to know that a new Game Overview trailer has been released, telling us exactly what we need. It's a pretty solid trailer and one with a lot of new in-game footage, which should make a lot of fans happy.

After the events of A-Day, where a catastrophe takes a countless number of lives and forces a ban on superheroes, we now know that A.I.M. steps in to become the world's protector. In a surprising, probably not too surprising for comic book fans, it seems like A.I.M. has an agenda and it's up to Kamala Khan to reform the Avengers and prove their innocence.

We finally get a look at the game's U.I. and hub base, which is where players will choose their missions and heroes. Customization is also shown, looking a lot like an RPG since these parts have different effects for the mission. As previously explained, there will be story missions and side quests, the latter of which can be played with any hero, whether its single-player or online with friends.

All of this information makes the game even more tantalizing, with the improved character models making previous concerns go away. Most of us are pretty pumped for this game and we can't wait to see what else Crystal Dynamics has planned, especially with all of the free DLC coming post-game.

Marvel's Avengers comes out on May 15, 2020.
