The first episode of Marvel's What If..? left everyone in awe of how different the story we all knew when it was Peggy Carter who became the First Avenger. For the next run of the show, the official Twitter page of the Guardians of the Galaxy shared a sneak peek of what will happen next in the series and how Yondu kidnapped the wrong kid.

In a short clip released on the official Twitter page of the Guardians of the Galaxy, we see what seems to be a screen from the Time Variance Authority where the timeline is branching out and it describes an event that we are all familiar with, that sometime in the 1980s, a kid was taken by the Ravagers led by Yondu under the orders of Ego the Living Planet, however, instead of Missouri, it became Wakanda.

Yondu even said in the video that the morons, possibly pertaining to the ravagers, kidnapped the wrong kid. It was T'Challa instead of Peter Quill. In the same clip, we hear one of the final performances of Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa and it just gives us the chills hearing how dedicated he was to his character despite being put in a different situation.

The video revealed the title of the episode and it would be "What If... T'Challa Became a Star-Lord?" and it would surely have a drastic change to the real story as that means Peter Quill remained with his mother and T'Challa lived in space, not training his way to become the new king of Wakanda. Just how interesting would it be to see what lies ahead in the upcoming episode of What If..?

Marvel's What If..? is canon to the MCU wherein various alternate realities are told by Uatu the Watcher and it is an anthology series where every week, a different topic and character would be the center of the story.

Marvel's What If..? Episode 2 will arrive tomorrow, August 18, 2021, at 3 AM EST, exclusively on Disney+ where it would be available in 4k. The show is rated TV-14.
