Marvel Studios is currently working on multiple MCU film and TV projects that feature both beloved familiar characters that we've seen before and new characters that are set to be introduced in the shared universe.

One of the projects that some fans have been clamoring for is an all-female team-up movie in the vein of A-Force which gained traction thanks to the scene in Avengers: Endgame where all female characters in the MCU at that point shared the same frame for an action-packed moment.

So far, the studio has not officially revealed any plans surrounding a potential all-female superhero team-up project. Now, a new rumor has emerged which suggests that it might finally happen in the near future.

According to notable insider Daniel Richtman (via Comic Book Movie), Marvel Studios was working on a Daughters of Liberty project prior to the current strike. It is unknown yet if it will be a feature film or TV series.

The development was still in the early stages and it is an idea that the studio was only considering without any writer attached. Neither studio nor the major trades have also confirmed this scoop.

If the project ends up happening, this is definitely the opportunity for Marvel Studios to do a big all-female team-up project. While they have The Marvels which has all-female leads, it is a much smaller group and the characters have established personal connections which is why they are teaming up.

In case you're not familiar with its comic origins, the Daughters of Liberty was established by Peggy Carter alongside her niece Sharon Carter. Notable members include Agatha Harkness, Spider-Woman, White Tiger, Mockingbird, Toni Ho, Echo, Misty Knight, Invisible Woman, and Shuri.

We can assume that some of the characters in the list will also be part of the MCU version of the team since some of them already exist while potentially adding other members that might not be part of the comics which is what Marvel Studios usually does.

Since the strike has put most projects in Hollywood on hold, it might take a while before we'll hear any updates regarding its development which is far from being definitive.
