Marvel Rolls Out Art-Work For New Extensive Star Wars Series

Star Wars comic book readers are definitely in for a treat today. Back in July, Lucasfilm told fans during a panel at the 2018 San Diego Comic-Con International that comic book readers would be getting a 30-issue maxi-series by Marvel Comics. Separated by three different titles, the maxi-series is set to explore the three different major eras of Lucasfilm's galaxy far, far away.

Now, according to a new report by ComicBook.com, Marvel's just rolled out a brand new photo to promote the exciting Star Wars series. Featuring the titles Age of Republic (Obviously focused on the age of the prequels), Age of Rebellion (focused on the time of the original series), and Age of Resistance (focused on the age of the sequel movies).

You can check out the photo right above.

Here's a description that Marvel Comics provided for the 30-issue Star Wars series.

"Journey through the entire Star Wars saga with Age of Republic, Age of Rebellion, and Age of Resistance, a 30-issue maxi-series chronicling the most iconic heroes & villains from across the galaxy. This epic Marvel Comics event starts in December with Age of Republic: Qui-Gon #1 and Age of Republic: Darth Maul #1."

Each title will focus on major characters during the different eras in the Star Wars franchise. Star Wars: Age of Republic which is to be written by Jody Houser is set to feature issues on Qui-Gon Jinn, Darth Maul, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jano Fett, Anakin Skywalker, Count Dooku, Padme Amidala, and General Grievous.

Star Wars: Age of Rebellion has Greg Pak as its writer and the title's issues are going to focus on Lando Calrissian, Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo, Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, Grand Moff Tarkin, Princess Leia Organa, and Darth Vader.

Meanwhile, Tom Taylor's Star Wars: Age of Resistance is going to focus on characters like Poe Dameron, Supreme Leader Snoke, Finn, Captain Phasma, Rose Tico, General Hux, Rey, and Kylo Ren.

Marvel's definitely giving Star Wars fans an extensive Star Wars series, and we're excited for all the different stories that we're going to get from each title – especially since we might be able to get a few clues about Star Wars: Episode IX from Star Wars: Age of Resistance.
