Marvel Reportedly Introducing Thanos’ Brother as MCU’s Next Big Bad

Marvel might have completed Thanos story when it released Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, however, now that the studio is moving on to Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans can't help but wonder about the next Thanos-level threat that Marvel might introduce into the franchise.

According to a report by We Got This Covered, the next big bad may very well be Thanos' brother. There are rumors going around saying that the Eros of Titan, otherwise known as Starfox, is going to be introduced into the MCU. Word has it that the powerful Titan with the power to control other people's emotions was originally set to appear in The Eternals, though plans have changed since then.

Now, Marvel is reportedly hoping to use the Eros of Titan in other Marvel projects, perhaps in a Secret Invasion television series, or perhaps in Captain Marvel 2. It would make sense to have Starfox appear in the second Captain Marvel movie – after all, the villain is old friends with Mar-Vell in Marvel's comic book universe.

Of course, as with all rumors, we advise fans to take this report with a large grain of salt. Marvel has been trying to keep mum about its overall plan for the MCU to avoid fans from spoiling upcoming movies and projects.

Right now, all eyes are turned toward Black Widow, the very first movie to introduce Phase 4 of the MCU.

Black Widow was delayed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and is now set to premiere on November 6, 2020.
