Marvel Reportedly Developing A She-Hulk Series With Mark Ruffalo

Earlier this week, Disney announced its different plans for its upcoming streaming site along with the the different Marvel and Star Wars series it has prepared for Disney+.

During Disney's Investor Day, Marvel President Kevin Feige confirmed the rumors that were circulating earlier this year, saying that the studio was working on live-action series like WandaVision which features Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), Hawkeye which puts the spotlight on Clint Barton (Jeremy Renner), Loki which features the Asgardian God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston), and Falcon and the Winter Soldier, a series starring both Anthonie Mackie and Sebastian Stan.

Now, according to Cosmic Book News, word has it that Marvel is also preparing a She-Hulk series for Disney+ starring Mark Ruffalo who expected to pass over his role as Hulk to his cousin in the comics, Jennifer Walters.

This is definitely interesting news. If the rumors do prove to be true, then this definitely means that Bruce Banner will be one of the Avengers to survive Avengers: Endgame. Not only that, but it will be the second series where fans get to see an Avenger pass on the baton to a female counterpart like with Hawkeye where Clint Barton is supposed to pass over the mantle to Kate Bishop.

This is in line with Marvel's push for diversity and representation in the franchise. Marvel has been saying time and time again that it's going to strive for social progress in its films, and the studio has promised that there would be more diversity and representation in the MCU's fourth phase.
