Marvel Releases Sneak Peek at Exciting New Disney+ Series

Marvel fans may have been met with devastating news earlier this week when word came out that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier wouldn't be making its 2020 Disney+ release date, however, it seems like the studio is making up for the heartache with a brand new trailer for Marvel series Marvel's 616.

Disney+ just released a brand new sneak peek at its upcoming Marvel docuseries called Marvel's 616, offering Marvel fans a look at two clips. The first clip gives fans a look at the episode "Higher, Further, Faster," featuring Community actress Gillian Jacobs. This particular episode is going to explore the impact of women at Marvel Comics.

You can check out the sneak peek clip down below.

The second clip that Disney+ released gives fans a look at the episode "Lost and Found," a chapter where The League, How Did This Get Made? Podcast host and comedian Paul Scheer explores Marvel Comics' "forgotten characters."

While this new series may not offer new content to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel 616 is a great series for Marvel comic book readers and those who're interested in exploring the Marvel comic book universe. After all, the series sets out to explore the rich legacy of the stories, characters, and creators that exist within Marvel. Each episode of the docu-series is helmed by a unique filmmaker and discusses the intersections of comics, storytelling, popular culture, and fandom in Marvel.

Marvel 616 is getting a panel at Comic-Con@Home on Thursday, July 23, at 1:00 pm PT.
