Marvel Producer Shares Promising Update on Harry Styles' MCU Future

Harry Styles made his MCU debut in the mid-credits scene of Eternals as Eros/Starfox. However, despite the major tease, he has not made another appearance in the franchise ever since and there have been questions about whether he will still continue in the role in the future.

While there are uncertainties about Styles' future in the MCU, Marvel Studios executive Nate Moore, who also co-produced Eternals, assured in an interview with Deadline that the singer-actor's tenure in the MCU is far from over and they do have plans to feature more of the character in future projects.

"We didn’t cast Harry for a tag," he said. "I mean, again... And a character maybe I have too much affection for, ’cause he’s had some problematic runs in publishing, but..."

Moore added, "But there are more stories to be told with that character. He’s fascinating. He has a really interesting connection with Thanos; they’re half-brothers and share the same father. He has an interesting power set. He’s a complicated character, but a really fun character."

"And I think having met Harry Styles, he is as charming as you want him to be. And I think there’s no limit to how good that character’s going to be once we get to bring him back."

While Moore didn't give out any specifics about which projects will Styles appear next, at the very least, he confirmed that the actor's tenure in the MCU is not over and we're still about to witness the beginning of his recurring role of Eros in the franchise.

It is hard to guess right now which project we might see him appear next. There have been rumors that a sequel to Eternals is in development which is obviously a potential project in which he could appear. He could also show up in films or TV shows that explore the cosmic side of the MCU.

As Marvel Studios is still planning out the future of the franchise, we should be hearing more official details and updates about Styles' next appearances soon.
