Marvel Fans Concerned Over Disney Rushing New Marvel Series To Compete WIth Netflix

While some Marvel fans are more than excited to see all of the brand new live-action series slated for Disney+, some are fans are concerned that Marvel might be rushing the production of the upcoming projects just so that Disney can compete with other streaming giants like Netflix and Hulu.

Taking to Reddit, Marvel fans have begun discussing the production date of the studio's upcoming Disney+ series. The first batch of Marvel series for the Mickey Mouse House is about ready to go. WandaVision just recently completed production, and work on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier also seems to be winding down.

Loki just began principal photography this week with set photos giving fans a look at Sophia Di Martino as Lady Loki/ Enchantress. Now, new reports say that Marvel is going to begin production on Moon Knight very soon, and Marvel fans seem a little bit concerned by the pace that Marvel's going with its live-action projects.

"I feel like they rushed to release Disney+, and now viewers realized there's not much new original content after 4 and half hours of The Mandalorian. I hope they aren't rushing the Marvel shows just to pump out content," a fan posted on a thread on Reddit.

We're hoping that that isn't the case either, but it sure does seem that Disney is hurrying the production of the live-action Marvel series so that it has something new for its upcoming streaming site.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian might have been a hit, but there's barely anything new on Disney+ these days.

Let's just hope that the pace doesn't affect the quality of the upcoming Marvel series.

WandaVision is set to premiere sometime in 2020.
