Marvel and Star Wars Movies’ Disney+ Release Delayed

Disney may have a pretty comprehensive film and series library on Disney+, however, a few Marvel and Star Wars titles have yet to arrive on the House of Mouse's streaming site. These missing films include Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

While Marvel and Star Wars fans have been hoping to see the movies arrive on Disney+ during the pandemic, it seems like everyone's going to have to wait a bit longer for the titles to make their way into Disney's roster of onlne offerings.

The Disney+ landing page for Infinity War announced the film's delay (via ComicBook.com), saying that that movie is now to arrive on June 26. The landing page for Solo: A Star Wars Story also reveals a delay in the film's arrival, saying that the Star Wars spinoff movie is going to be made available on July 10. Ant-Man and the Wasp, on the other hand, is going to be made available on August 14, two weeks after the movie is set to leave Netflix.

While we're not entirely sure why the movies have been delayed or whether the delay has anything to do with the COVID-19 pandemic, we do know that fans don't need to be upset over the news. There are still a lot of movies and series to explore on Disney+ while waiting for Infinity War, Solo, and Ant-Man and the Wasp to make their way into Disney's streaming site.

It's all a matter of patience, really.

The second season of Star Wars: The Mandalorian is set to premiere on Disney+ sometime later this year.
