Thanks to Angstrom Levy's portal-jumping ability, he gets Mark stranded in a wasteland in Invincible season 2's finale. Considering that he has no way of flying back home, who ends up saving him from Angstrom's ploy?

Angstrom Levy Leaves Invincible Stranded in Another Dimension
It's been a long time since Angstrom Levy was revived after the explosion he suffered from in Mark Grayson's dimension. Upon rebuilding his body, Angstrom was led to believe that killing Invincible was his main goal.
Angstrom made his way into the Grayson household and threatened Mark's life using his mother and his half-brother, Oliver.
Since he can travel to basically any alternate dimension he wishes to, this grants him the power to trick Invincible into entering any other realm where he's vulnerable and unfamiliar.
In this case, once Invincible understood how his powers worked, he managed to trick Angstrom and punched him right into the dimension in the middle of nowhere.
Mark ended up beating Angstrom Levy to death, rendering him stuck in this realm. Though it remains to be seen what alternate version of Earth he was stuck in, civilization ceased to exist, as far as he's concerned.
So, how does he escape? Who saves Mark from the wasteland?

Who Saves Mark's Skin From the Wasteland?
Quite surprisingly, while Mark is wandering off across the wastelands, contemplating how he killed Angstrom Levy, a green light glows behind him.
Coming from the green portal, out came the Guardians of the Globe, except they're much older, and not every member from Mark's world is present. They came from another dimension.
In this case, the Guardians of the Globe that rescued Mark were older Atom Eve, Robot, Bulletproof, and Monster Girl, with the inclusion of two more superpowered individuals, namely, Kid Thor and Knockout.
The latter two were introduced in the original comic books.
As Robot explained, they thankfully had four working time machines in Guardian custody.
Though it took them 20 years before finding Mark in the wasteland, they were prepared to send him back home through their own portal opener.
