Mark Ruffalo Reaches Out To Russo Brothers After Avengers 4 Title Reveal

Mark Ruffalo is finally trying to do something to redeem himself after his Avengers 4 spoilerfest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The Thor: Ragnarok star has just reached out to Joe and Anthony Russo, who had fired him after he revealed the sequel's title on national TV.

Ruffalo had tweeted out a plea to Fallon on Friday begging for his Avengers 4 "spoiler slip" to be cut from the Tonight Show episode. The Russo brothers responded to the post when the episode finally aired that night, telling the actor that he was "fired." Now it looks like Ruffalo is trying to persuade the Infinity War directors to hire him again. Take a look at his tweet below.

We're hoping the Russo brothers listen to Ruffalo's explanation. After all, it didn't sound like he actually spoiled anything on the Tonight Show.

Fallon had asked the actor about the Avengers 4 title. Ruffalo gave an answer, which was bleeped out. Interestingly, someone actually found a way to remove the bleep and discovered that the Infinity War star had said, "The Last Avenger." However, most fans believe that this isn't the real title and Ruffalo had simply given an answer to confuse the viewers.

So what exactly is the Avengers 4 title? It looks like we're not going to get a straight answer from Ruffalo or the Russo brothers. Nevertheless, there is a possibility that the title will be revealed right before the premiere on Captain Marvel next year. After all, Marvel Studios might be hoping that people would focus on the Brie Larson film first before unveiling the highly anticipated sequel. Unfortunately, this could mean we won't get any updates until 2019.

Captain Marvel will hit theaters on March 8, 2019. It will be followed by Avengers 4, which is scheduled for release on May 3, 2019.
