Anyone who follows Mark Hamill on social media can tell you that he is one of the most entertaining celebrities on Twitter. Not surprisingly, there are times when the Star Wars: Episode IX actor shares content that turn into internet gold.
Hamill recently shared a photo with his Episode IX co-star Daisy Ridley that was taken back when they were still working on Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Take a look at the tweet below.
It's certainly a hilarious picture that pays tribute to Luke's training with Yoda on Dagobah. Hamill had previously posted the photo in 2016 to tease that Rey would undergo a similar training in The Last Jedi. Although Ridley's character didn't actually have to carry Luke around her back in Ahch-To, Rey also had a vision when she went into a cave in the planet.
Episode IX is currently in production and we're not sure if Hamill and Ridley will have scenes together in the film. Nevertheless, it's great to reminisce about how much fun they had on The Last Jedi.
Luke may have passed away in Episode VIII but Hamill is expected to play a major role in Episode IX. There have been speculations that there will be several flashback sequences to the time when Luke was training a young Ben Solo. In addition to that, the Jedi Master is expected to appear as a Force ghost who might try to persuade Kylo Ren from embracing the Dark Side.
Hamill and Ridley will return in Star Wars: Episode IX on December 20.
