Mark Hamill Reveals His Secret Roles in All Star Wars Movies Except Prequels

Mark Hamill might already have had the opportunity to play Luke Skywalker throughout the entire Star Wars saga, however, it turns out the Star Wars legend had other roles to play in the galaxy far, far away.

Always active on social media, Hamill has been sharing behind-the-scenes Star Wars factoids and anecdotes on Twitter, and this week, the Star Wars actor let his followers know that he's had a few secret roles in the franchise.

Not only has Hamill lent his voice playing a droid in the Mos Eisley Cantina in "The Gunslinger" episode of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, but he's also had voice acting roles in a few major Star Wars movies as well.

Posting on the social media platform, Hamill revealed how he had lent his voice in all Star Wars films – well, except the prequels. That means Hamill had secret roles in Star Wars spinoff movies like Rogue One and Solo. He also had secret roles in the Star Wars sequel trilogy as well.

"Now that @themandalorian secret is out-might as well reveal I am vocally represented in ALL SW films except the Prequels. Thanks to @matthewood for using me in Rogue One, Solo & the Sequels, so I DO have lines in #EpVII. Hint: Look for parts played by Patrick Williams," the Star Wars legend wrote in his post.

This new reveal shouldn't really come as a surprise. Hamill isn't only a Star Wars legend, he's become a comic book icon as well, making a name for himself as a voice actor who's voiced the Joker for DC, Ozai for Avatar: The Last Airbender, Megatronus in Transformers: Power of the Primes, and so many, many more.

We can imagine Hamill providing more voice work in future Star Wars movies and series now that the Skywalker saga's finally come to an end.

The Skywalker saga is available for streaming on Disney+.
