Mark Hamill Confirms Another Iconic Star Wars Character To Appear In Solo

It looks like another legendary Star Wars character's set to pop up in Solo: A Star Wars Story.

Mark Hamill just recently went on a podcast for The Washington Post (via Express) to talk about all things Star Wars. During his interview with the publication the Star Wars legend accidentally revealed that another iconic character is actually set to appear in Solo – the whiny communications droid, C-3PO.

"Tony Daniels is happy because he's in every single Star Wars movie," Hamill said. "Every single one: all the prequels, he's in Rogue One, he's in Solo… oops, I hope that's not [a secret]. But anyway, he's in every single Star Wars movie, that's not such a reveal, Star Wars fans expect him to be in every movie."

Hamill is pretty much right. The droid has been in every other single Star Wars movie. Solo shouldn't be an exception.

"I said to Tony, ‘it's perfect, you never age, and if you give them enough trouble they'll just sign somebody else that fits in that suit!'" the actor said.

Being a droid, it isn't a far-fetched idea to have C-3PO in Solo. Even though the droid's presence doesn't hold the same power as say Luke Skywalker or Han Solo himself, C-3PO is a pretty big part of Lucasfilm's galaxy far, far away.

Solo: A Star Wars Story makes its big premiere May 25.
