Mark Hamill And Chris Evans Debate On Whether A Lightsaber Or Vibranium Shield Is Stronger

Star Wars and Marvel might have two entirely different worlds, but sometimes it's hard not to compare which one's better over the other.

This week, one of the big Star Wars vs Marvel debates has Star Wars legend Mark Hamill and Marvel actor Chris Evans arguing over which weapon's actually stronger – a Jedi's lightsaber, or the vibranium shield of Captain America.

Back on Wednesday night, an image of a father's message saying he had no idea how to answer his son when he was asked which of the said weapons was stronger began popping up on Twitter. The image became viral, and soon enough Star wars fans and Marvel fans decided to bring the question to the attention of both Hamill and Evans.

Classy as ever, Hamill was quick to point out that the legendary Luke Skywalker wouldn't fight a hero like himself. However, if the Jedi Knight were asked to destroy the shield, Hamill believes the lightsaber would actually "cut it into a million little pieces"

Of course, being the Avenger that he is, Evans wasn't going to take that kind of answer lying down. Answering to Hamill's little jab, Evans told the Star Wars legend that he was "foolish. Now I have vibranium ninja stars."

Though Evans does admit that a lightsaber might be able to cut through his shield, he does warn Star Wars fans that he becomes more dangerous now that he has vibranium ninja stars to play with.

What do you think? Which is the stronger weapon, a Jedi's lightsaber, or Cap's shield? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
