Magic: The Gathering Creature Tokens Get Miniature Versions

Magic: The Gathering creature tokens are usually represented in cards and sometimes dice if we don't have the token cards. Some players even use custom-made tokens with altered artworks but soon, players will be able to use cool miniatures to represent familiar creature tokens like the Angel, Dragon, Spider, Zombie, and more.

This September, Wizkids has revealed Magic: The Gathering Creature Forge: Overwhelming Storm, a new range of models that turn the game's iconic tokens into 3D miniatures.

Check them out:

Each figurine measures up to 55 mm, and as you can see above, the base of each miniature represents one of Magic's five colors that make the foundation of the game's mana system. There will be 28 creature Forge tokens available. They look incredibly detailed, and I would love to play them in a tournament. It looks like you would still need the token cards to represent tapping in the game.

Each box containing 24 figurines will cost $86.76 MSRP.

What do you think about these cool creature token figurines? Would you buy them? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
